Biography
I was born in Mulhouse (east of France) in 1965. I bought my first 35 mm SLR when I was 15. In 2000 I stopped high level sport and I focused on photography. I participated to some workshops in the « Semaine Internationale de la Photo de Riedisheim » and I joined the Riedisheim Photo Club. I made my first shootings with a friend. I made my learning with the photo club and with magazines also (« Chasseurs d'images », « Réponses Photo », « Photo » et « PhotoArgus »). I studied the work of great photographers too : Jean-Loup SIEFF, Jean-François JONVELLE, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Herb RITTS, Helmut NEWTON, Uwe OMMER. My main subject is « feminine beauty » in a sober way with few accessories and devices and mainly in black and white. Light is very important in my photos. It shows the shapes by highlighting hollows and curves, bringing shadows or contours here and there.

Influences
I totally agree with Jean-François Jonvelle's concept « all the women are beautiful ». I am looking for the best way to pay homage to the beauty of the women who pose for me. Most of them are women I met in everyday life. Many of them never posed before. I understand and respect their limits which are often reached before being nude. The main thing is the beauty of the photo and the pleasure of those women discovering themselves for the first time !

Dreams
I dream of making photos for the cover of a magazine, or for lingerie advertising like « Aubade »'s charm lessons, or for the « Pirelli » calendar, or for a celebrity. An other dream would be to publish a beautiful book.
