This new column allows me to make you share the techniques which I use to realize my photos. So I will begin with one of my preferred inside :

Chiaroscuro
It is the implemented technique to realize the images below.


It requires a dark room, a background and a light source placed mostly against the light, in an angle of the studio. The light is managed towards the model. It is easier to operate it with a black backgroung.


This technique is also interesting with two sources (here softboxes placed symmetrically, but umbrellas also do). To avoid flare (due to the returns of light in the lens), it is necessary to take place behind protections. The power of every lighting is adjusted according to the required effect.
The Chiaroscuro is often used for photos in black and white, but as you can see, the color and the partial desaturate stay possible options.
